» Leicestershire North NHWAWelcome to Quorn local policing unitInspector Cathy Yallop Inspector Cathy Yallop joined Leicestershire Constabulary in 1979 and has spent all but 18 months of her career on the North area and is pleased to be joining the team at Quorn after spending four and a half years at Ashby. Inspector Yallop has a good background in community policing and has worked in various roles at all the local policing units on the North area, including two years spent as a sergeant in Quorn. Cathy is delighted to be returning to the area and is keen to put her extensive knowledge of local communities to good use. Targeting and disrupting persistent offenders and tackling issues that affect the quality of life for those living in the area are Inspector Yallop’s key priorities, ensuring high visibility policing on the streets and in local communities. Supportive of partnership working, Inspector Yallop said: “I am looking forward to working with other agencies, alongside my police officers, my police community support officers and the local community to help achieve our shared aims” Inspector Yallop lives on the North area and her interests include keeping fit, dancing, gardening and plans to learn the saxophone, time allowing. Areas covered and contact details.Quorn local policing unit is responsible for policing 21 villages within Charnwood including the Wolds, Anstey, Newtown Linford, Cropston, Thurcaston, Rothley, Mountsorrel, Quorn, Woodhouse, Swithland, Sileby, Barrow upon Soar, and Seagrave. The policing unit covers the beauty spots of Bradgate Park, Swithland Woods and Beacon Hill, all of which attract thousands of visitors a year. Quorn local policing unit has fostered some excellent partnerships that help police and communities to tackle crime together. We provide a 24-hour policing service but there may be times when you need to go into a police station. Listed below is your local policing unit together with its usual opening times.
