Vandalism and Damage

The Village Hall has been constantly targeted with outside lights being smashed and broken glass strewn all over the paths, (this in an area where young children are walking to go to play school). Drainage pipes have been removed and damaged, dog mess has been smeared on the doors and many other incidents too numerous to mention.
These incidents have not happened once but many times during the past few weeks.
Shop doors have been broken, waste bins have been removed and damaged in and around Merchants Common. The Bus Shelter on chestnut way has been vandalised and damaged. The Church has had the cross damaged and faeces (human or otherwise) smeared on doors. I am sure that there are many other incidents that have not been reported to the police.

DID YOU HEAR OR SEE ANYTHING?
Sometime during the evening of Friday 9 and Saturday 10 January, two cars were overturned blocking off Yeomans Dale. The Church had windows smashed. The playing fields damaged by a vehicle driving constantly over the grass surface making it virtually impossible to be used as a football pitch. Surely someone must have seen or heard something.

Please, Please, Please contact the police if you see or hear anything, when the incident is happening. Dial 0116 222 2222 for all non-emergency calls.

Dial 999 only in an emergency.

Contact Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
