Does it cost to be part of Neighbourhood Watch Scheme ?

The answer is a definite....NO !

There is no membership fee.
There is no subsription of any kind.
You will not be asked for cash.

Neighbourhood Watch is a system of volunteers, of people wishing to become a little more aware of how crime can be prevented.

Literature and stickers are free.
( The Home Office provides free information and leaflets.)

These, alas, are not free. They can be purchased from approved sign makers at a cost of about £ 17.- each.
Fitting can be arranged free of charge through the Loughborough Neighbourhood Watch office.

Once fitted they form an instant deterrent to any culprit entering your road. It tells them, 'Here are people who are not prepared to let the criminal element get away with things.'
