Meet your Beat Officer.

PC 2013 Chris Hughes has worked for Leicestershire constabulary for over two years having been based in Loughborough as a front line officer for this period.

Having lived in the area since early childhood and previously worked as a coach builder in Loughborough for 10 years he is familiar with the area and the community.

He is the Beat officer for beat 14 and he is the first beat officer to be employed under the new government's 'Neighbourhood Policing' initiative.

Under the Neighbourhood Policing Policy he is keen to work with all local agencies and residents to resolve local issues and create a strong community spirit.
