Crime Alert at the Door

A Neighbourhood Watch card that can be displayed at the door, or shown, to deter “cold” callers. It states – no buying from or selling to callers at the door – asks for the reason for the call and requests an identity card – says caller may need to make formal appointment at another time.

PRIDE

PRIDE stands for the Protection and Reassurance Initiative to Defend the Elderly. It is a registered charity, that enables eligible persons to have an alarm fitted free of charge. It will be of interest to persons aged 60 or over who reside in Leicestershire or South Derbyshire. The leaflet describes the PRIDE alarms, and gives contact details for more information.
