Motor Cycle GP at Donnington Park
Over the three days, community volunteers helped to distribute information to visitors to the Grand Prix.
The campsite and trailer parks were visited and crime prevention leaflets handed out.
These included mobile phone marking leaflets, tent security tags.

Car parks were also targeted where motorists, as they arrived, were made aware of the potential of car theft and theft from motor vehicles.
Mirror hangers were doled out and over the three days close to 3,000 of these were issued.
.

Good fun was had by all as many motorists welcomed our advice. There were some minor tactics between volunteers on who could issue all their leaflets first. One volunteer found he gained them faster than he could issue them as they were deposited in his rucksack....We know who you are.
On a more serious front, our presence on the campsite, car parks and in and around the area made people feel safer and kept the scalliwags at bay.
Thank you for all those taking part across all three days.
