The yearly festival of rock and pop was a huge success in the number of bands and people who attended.
Close to 3000 mobile phone leaflets were issued and almost as many phones, cameras and other electrical items were postcoded.

Occupiers of of tents were warned not to leave any valuables or to maybe leave one chaperon per group of tents to keep en eye out.

Alas overnight there were several thefts from tents and valuables removed.
The police had apprehended at least four individuals in related incidents and are hopeful to get results.

On a brighter side, the honesty of most revellers was admired by the number of wallets, bags and other valuables which were handed in to the lost and found tents.

Police volunteers were joined by army and air cadets who helped to pass out leaflets and mark lots of mobile phones.
The car parks were checked and owners given information not to leave any valuables on show or better still to take them with them.
This makes vehicles less likely to be broken into.
