Estate Agents join NHW

Coalville and Ashby Estate Agents joined together with Neighbourhood Watch to give new homeowners advice on crime prevention in their new home.
Leaflets were produced by the NHW which the estate agents would distribute on our behalf.
This gives a high visibilty to NHW and promotes customer care with the Estate Agents.

A full compliment of estate agents came together at Coalville Police Station on 16 March. They were joined by representation from the Police who, as always, promote the NHW movement.

REMEMBER dipped lights have to be used in dull, wet, misty/foggy weather. There are still lots of drivers who seem to be unaware that lights must be used, especially those with ‘road’ coloured cars (silver, grey etc) which are hard to define in less than perfect conditions. The lights are not for the driver to see but to be SEEN by other drivers and hopefully to prevent accidents.

TARMAC GANGS are operating in the area. 2 youths and 1 girl, all approximately 22 years old, all disqualified drivers, using white Mazda Panel van, registration number R667 KNR. A drive in Ashby was tarmacced using incorrect material (toxic). Any sightings please ring 999.
