Coalville Town

The Coalville town neighbourhood beat covers Coalville town centre. It covers retail and industrial premises and includes 10 pubs and one nightclub.
The neighbourhood also includes residential areas and includes two schools - Hugglescote primary school and Newbridge High school.
Coalville Town has one beat officer and two PCSOs who work opposing shifts, extending the period of policing cover and improving visibility and reassurance.

Summer 2009 Priorities
> To work with young people and partner agencies to tackle under-age drinking and youths congregating outside the Marlene Reid Centre, Melbourne Street.
> To work with young people and partner agencies to tackle under-age drinking and youths congregating on Coalville Park and Long Lane Park.

Coalville Estate Agents.

Coalville and Ashby Estate Agents joined together with Neighbourhood Watch to give new homeowners advice on crime prevention in their new home.
Leaflets were produced by the NHW which the estate agents would distribute on our behalf.
This gives a high visibilty to NHW and promotes customer care with the Estate Agents.

A full compliment of estate agents came together at Coalville Police Station on 16 March. They were joined by representation from the Police who, as always, promote the NHW movement.
