Moto GP, 30 June -> 2 July,

Over three days of glorious sunshine Police volunteers meandered across the campsite and car parks. On this occasion not with high vissibility jackets as these seemed to be attracting all the bugs in the neighbourhood.

Information was distrubuted to highlight to the visitors to be alert for thieves who would remove cash from rolled up trousers in tents whilst the owners were asleep.

A little co-orperation beteen tents ensured people cared for others and kept an eye out.

The amount of bikers was extraordinary as some of the pictures show.

The volunteers also checked vehicles in VIP car park areas and also for the general public.
A very entertaining person was very security concious and 'made' his own security.

The volunteers were baked in the sun and were warmly received by both the general public and the professionals alike.
