Roles & Responsibilities.
When taking the readings a certain number of criteria must be adhered to.
We do not want to pose a hazard to those taking the readings, nor those on the public highway.
Each group of people taking the readings will be asked to read, understand and adhere to the few simple rules to ensure everyone remains safe.
- Roles & Responsibilities (MS Word, 410K)
Training will be given to those intersted by a member of Neighbourhood Watch free of charge at a time and place of mutual agreement.
Following reading and agreeing to the rules, the members will be given practice with the speed gun to show how easy it is.
When there still is the desire to continue, then a speed gun and two Speed-Check signs will be issued to the group so they may continue to take readings for the next two or three weeks.
After this time the Speed Gun and Speed-Check signs will be returned to the Neighbourhood Watch for others to use.
A diary based on a first-come first-served basis will be kept to give the opertunity to re-visit existing schemes and implement further Speed-Check campaigns.
